RCF Supports the 2026 Electronic Dance Music Awards with TT+ AUDIO GTX Series PA
Piscataway, NJ, April 21, 2026 – RCF, a renowned name in professional audio solutions, played a pivotal role as a sponsor at the 2026 Electronic Dance Music Awards (EDMA). This exciting event took place on Friday, March 27, 2026, at the historic Clevelander South Beach in Miami, Florida, and is a highlight of Miami Music Week, drawing in artists and industry professionals from all corners of the electronic music world.
The audio magic was orchestrated by the Miami-based production team 4Sound Group, under the guidance of Joaquin Gonzalez, an early partner of RCF in the U.S. Known for their expertise in delivering powerful and precise sound, Gonzalez and his team utilized RCF’s cutting-edge TT+ AUDIO systems for the event, ensuring attendees experienced the best in sonic fidelity.
This year’s edition of the awards took place on the Clevelander’s Poolside Stage, powered by a sophisticated PA system crafted to handle the energetic environment of live performances and DJ sets alike. The system showcased RCF’s flagship TT+ AUDIO GTX 10 two-way line array modules, paired with GTS 29 dual 19-inch subwoofers. This setup provided deep, controlled low-end frequencies that enveloped the venue while ensuring even sound distribution.
For optimal DJ monitoring, Gonzalez implemented GTX 7C compact cardioid line array modules along with GTS 16C high-performance flyable cardioid subwoofers. This combination yielded precise, low-feedback monitoring essential for the performers on stage. Complementing this arrangement were three TT 45-SMA high-output stage monitors per side, offering the artists exceptional clarity and power during their performances.
Oscar Mora, RCF’s Application Engineer, was present to collaborate with Gonzalez and the 4Sound Group on system deployment. He explained the rationale behind choosing the GTX 7C and GTS 16C systems, noting the unique challenges posed by the venue’s layout. “It was a short-throw application, but one that demanded precise control,” he stated. The need for a compact system was accentuated by the venue’s proximity to the bustling boardwalk, necessitating a design that minimized sound spill while maximizing audio impact.
Gonzalez emphasized that the competitive nature of this industry demands nothing less than excellence. “We conducted a shootout against two major brands, and in my experience, the GTX system really stood out. Its tonal balance and musicality set it apart,” he shared. Originating from Cuba, where RCF is widely regarded, Gonzalez first adopted the TT series, solidifying his trust in the brand’s quality.
He added, “This GTX system delivered precisely what we needed for a high-energy environment like the EDMAs. We achieved focused low-end, articulate vocals, and consistent coverage in an acoustically challenging space, allowing every drop to resonate exactly where it should. When the system is perfectly tuned, it transcends just hearing the music; it becomes an immersive experience.”
The 2026 EDMAs featured performances from iconic artists, including Armin van Buuren, Don Diablo, and Alan Walker. Notably, the acclaimed Italian DJ Benny Benassi, known for his Grammy-winning track “Satisfaction,” performed on the RCF system. His presence not only showcased the system’s capabilities but also highlighted the geographical ties between the artist and the brand, as both hail from the same region of Italy.
Mora reflected on the event, noting it was a great opportunity to demonstrate RCF’s system to a diverse audience of DJs and music lovers. “DJs are becoming more attuned to sound quality; they’re recognizing the significance of proper system design in how the audience perceives sound,” he remarked. Today, it’s about more than just loudness; it’s about clarity and depth of sound—elements that can be felt viscerally even if one lacks audio expertise.
Justin Brock, RCF Vice President of Strategic Sales, highlighted the significance of this evolving DJ market. “This segment is crucial for RCF as it interlinks performance, culture, and technology,” he stated. Brock believes that DJs today demand high sound quality akin to touring or installation-grade systems, making purchasing decisions influenced by clarity, headroom, and tonal consistency.
When asked about his experiences with RCF, Gonzalez remarked, “The relationship I’ve built with RCF USA and RCF Italy is invaluable. Their service is unparalleled, which is essential for our operations.” He contrasted RCF’s dedication to service and support with other brands, emphasizing how crucial this aspect is in creating a successful partnership in a competitive market.
