Every summer, VOLTA and Badniss join forces to deliver one of Zagreb’s most adventurous outdoor club experiences.
This year’s edition raises the stakes once again with the arrival of DJ Travella, the Tanzanian producer whose explosive approach to singeli has made him one of the most talked-about names in contemporary global club music.
Taking place on June 20th at AKC Medika, the event runs from 18:00 until 03:00, combining open-air energy, heavyweight sound system culture and a lineup built for dancers who like their BPMs dangerously high.
A key member of the influential Nyege Nyege ecosystem, DJ Travella has become internationally recognized for pushing singeli into futuristic territory. Rooted in the fast-paced street sounds of Dar es Salaam, his productions blend traditional Tanzanian influences with elements of techno, rave, trap, dembow and experimental electronic music. The result is a sound often described as cyber-singeli—a hyperactive, forward-looking style that regularly exceeds 200 BPM.
For many electronic music fans in the region, this appearance represents a rare opportunity to experience one of the genre’s most innovative artists in an intimate setting.
Supporting Travella is a diverse cast of selectors representing different corners of the underground. The Badniss crew returns with its trademark energy and boundary-pushing approach, while Anavi, often described as Zlarin’s one-man musical force, adds another unique perspective to the lineup.
Also appearing is Hvala Sven, known for his deep knowledge of global sounds and as the driving force behind RH Space Orkestra. Together with Kornet, Naomi and Praktikal, the lineup reflects the event’s commitment to adventurous programming that stretches far beyond conventional club music categories.
Powering the entire experience is the mighty Kordoom Hi-Fi Soundsystem, ensuring every low-end frequency and frantic rhythm hits with maximum impact.
Hosted at Klub Attack / Medika, one of Zagreb’s most important independent cultural spaces, the event continues the tradition of creating spaces where alternative club culture can thrive outside mainstream frameworks.
The question posed by the organizers is simple:
How fast can you move?
On June 20th, Zagreb gets a chance to find out. 🔥🔊🌍💨
