Apple Music has made a significant splash in the dance and electronic music scene with the launch of two new flagship DJ mix series: Club Mix and Club Resident. This move reinforces Apple Music’s commitment to understanding and promoting DJ culture while providing a dedicated platform for both emerging and established artists to connect with their audiences through curated mixes.
The expansion builds upon Apple Music’s existing DJ Mix program, which has been fostering the art of mixing since 2021. With these new initiatives, Apple Music aims to achieve two distinct objectives: Club Mix will showcase one-off sets from prominent artists, while Club Resident will allow selected artists to maintain an ongoing presence, delivering multiple installments over time.
Club Mix Debuts with horsegiirL, Miss Kittin, and More
The inaugural launch of Club Mix is thrilling and features four exclusive sets, beginning with horsegiirL‘s Club Mix 001. The excitement continues with three more mixes recorded during the Fête de la Musique, an annual celebration in France that transforms cities into vibrant, open-air music venues. This segment of the launch includes sets from electroclash icon Miss Kittin, the rising French artist Paloma Le Friant, and the techno duo Anetha b2b Tatyana Jane.
All four Club Mixes can be streamed on demand for Apple Music subscribers, creating a unique opportunity for fans to immerse themselves in these carefully curated experiences. Moreover, these mixes will be available free of charge on Apple Music’s Club Radio every Wednesday at 7:00 PM PT, ensuring accessibility for all enthusiasts. Mark your calendars for the June 20 airing of Miss Kittin and Paloma Le Friant, followed by Anetha b2b Tatyana Jane on June 21.

The Martinez Brothers and Jazzy Are the Inaugural Club Residents
On the residency front, Apple Music has enlisted The Martinez Brothers and Jazzy as the first artists to step into the Club Resident role. Known for their vibrant contributions to the house music scene, The Martinez Brothers are in the midst of another bustling Ibiza season, making them an apt choice for this initiative. Meanwhile, Jazzy, a talented Irish DJ, producer, and vocalist, recently collaborated with the renowned Calvin Harris and has an exciting summer festival schedule ahead.
The first Club Resident mix from The Martinez Brothers is set to drop on June 24, followed closely by Jazzy’s mix on July 8. Additional installments from both artists are already lined up for the summer, promising an enriching experience for fans.
As Stephen Campbell, Global Head of Dance, Electronic Music & DJ Mixes at Apple Music, noted, “DJ mixes have always been one of the most important ways artists tell their stories and document a moment in culture.” With the unveiling of Club Mix and Club Resident, Apple Music is not only offering a vibrant platform for creativity but also crafting a lasting archive that pays homage to the artistry and culture of dance music.
