Refuge NYC is gearing up for an extensive Halloween celebration with PURGATORY, spanning from Thursday, October 29, to Sunday, November 1. The Brooklyn venue will host six parties over this four-day period, featuring an impressive lineup of artists including salute, Stacey Pullen, Jayda G, Soul Clap + DJ E-Cology, Victor Calderone, Nicole Moudaber, and Mira, among others. The music will encompass a variety of genres such as house, techno, and UK garage.
Continuous Parties at Refuge NYC
This Halloween celebration marks a significant moment for Refuge, as the club recently celebrated its first anniversary despite challenging weather conditions. Throughout the PURGATORY event, the parties will take place in both the main room and the courtyard, catering to all kinds of party-goers with sessions running from day into night and beyond.
A Unique Club Experience
Refuge NYC stands out in the club scene, maintaining a strong focus on creating an environment solely dedicated to dancing. The venue refrains from traditional table service or VIP areas, promoting an inclusive atmosphere where 500 guests can share the dance floor. The club’s sound is powered by a specially designed REX analogue system, enhancing the overall music experience.
Diverse Lineup Kicks Off the Weekend
The event begins on Thursday night with a collaborative set from salute and Stacey Pullen, showcasing a blend of UK garage and Detroit techno. This opening night aims to highlight the diverse range of music that will characterize the entire weekend.
Emotional Moments and Rising Beats
On Friday, the energy is expected to ramp up with Jayda G’s signature warm house and disco sound. Notably, this night will see Soul Clap’s final joint performance as Eli Goldstein and Charles Levine part ways after 25 years. Following this, Saturday promises a packed schedule as Victor Calderone and Anthony Middleton kick off Halloween day, leading into Nicole Moudaber’s techno-filled night party.
Closing Out the Marathon
The celebration culminates with Mira bringing her atmospheric sound to the sunrise session on Sunday, followed by Serge Devant and Vanjee to wrap up the weekend’s festivities with a final afternoon session.
PURGATORY runs Thursday, October 29 through Sunday, November 1 at Refuge NYC in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Tickets for the events can be found here.
