Braga Circuit deep house is in the spotlight: the Margate-raised DJ and producer, born Joseph Burrows, has shared a new hour-long mix along with an interview about emotional dance music and the Kent scene he grew up in. While plenty of dancefloors keep pushing harder and faster, he’s going the other way: warm chords, nostalgic melodies, swung drums and slow-burning grooves.
Inside the Braga Circuit deep house mix
The mix came out on 28 October 2026. It runs just under 60 minutes across 16 tracks and sits firmly on the deeper side. Fans have already tracklisted most of it, and it moves from Sultan & Tommyboy’s “Outro” through cuts from Tom VR, Jennifer Loveless and DJ Central to classics like Dave Clarke’s “Southside” and Fred Everything’s “Universal Mind”. Burrows also slips in two unreleased IDs of his own, his track “When It Feels Right” and his remix of Real Lies’ “Arielle”.
From Hong Kong to the North Kent coast
The alias comes from a street in Hong Kong, where Burrows lived until he was four. He has said he’s never been back. He started DJing at 17 at local club nights and free parties with fellow Margate producers including Wen, J-One and Lex. Back then he was into Swamp 81 and the Parisian bass label ClekClekBoom, and he listened closely to Oneman’s radio shows on Rinse FM.
Today he has his own Rinse FM residency and releases on the station’s in-house label. On Rinse he put out the single “Right When I Told You” in March 2026, a nod to late-’90s and early-’00s deep house, and followed it with “Promises” in April. He’s also become a regular on air miles. His debut there was the Fall EP in May 2025, which included a remix from fellow Margate producer Leod. In February 2026 he followed it with the four-track Thanks All EP on 12″ vinyl.
Why the scene is listening
His records have been played by Ben UFO, Mall Grab and Joy Orbison. He’s now based in London, but his sound still carries the deep, rolling feel the air miles crew ties to the North Kent coast. If you like your house music soulful, patient and a bit wistful, this mix is a good place to start.
