Fisher and Chris Lake have unveiled their back-to-back set titled Under Construction, part of Apple Music’s Head Trip series, which premiered today. This set offers fans a unique listening experience featuring two of house music’s most electrifying duos.
About Head Trip Series
Apple Music’s Head Trip series showcases extended DJ sets from various artists within the house and techno genres. Unlike typical festival performances, these sets are usually filmed in minimalist environments such as studios or warehouses. This format allows artists to explore their creativity, stepping beyond the constraints of standard club or festival sets, with back-to-back configurations enabling a real-time exchange between two producers as they engage the audience.
Fisher and Chris Lake's Chemistry
Having spent considerable time performing together, Fisher and Chris Lake have developed a natural synergy on stage. The Australian DJ Fisher, acclaimed for popular tech house tracks like ‘Losing It’ and ‘You Little Beauty,’ teams up with UK producer Chris Lake, known for his hits like ‘Turn Off the Lights’ and ‘I Want You,’ alongside his label Black Book Records. Their consistent collaborations have made their performances a notable attraction in many festival lineups, and this Under Construction recording encapsulates their dynamic energy in a permanent, streamable format.
Previous Head Trip Installments
The launch of the Under Construction set adds to a growing list of entries in the Head Trip series. Previous sets have featured artists such as Swedish House Mafia, Four Tet b2b Peggy Gou, and Ben Sterling b2b Seth Troxler. This series has positioned itself as a fresh alternative to the conventional DJ set uploads typically found on platforms like YouTube or SoundCloud, offering a blend of both well-known headliners and artists rooted in club culture.
