As part of the Impulse Festival, ABOP and Pomelo Chess Society will take the stage at Pogon in Rijeka on April 24, 2026, for a night that blends live electronic performance with math rock energy.
Opening the evening is Pomelo Chess Society, a Rijeka-based band known for their explosive guitar work, shifting rhythms and atmospheric synth layers. With three albums behind them and a new single “Aperion” marking their latest phase, the group continues to evolve its sound, combining precision with unpredictability.
Headlining the night are ABOP (After je Bolji Od Partija), a live electronic act recognized for their audiovisual performances and genre-blending approach. Drawing from acid house, techno, electro, goa trance and krautrock, ABOP have built a strong reputation through energetic live shows that merge music and visuals into a single immersive experience.
With over a decade on the scene and appearances at festivals such as OZORA, Dimensions and Exit, the group arrives in Rijeka to present material from their award-winning album “Masters of Afters”, alongside earlier tracks that have become staples of their live sets.
The event is part of the 13th edition of Impulse Festival, running from April 17 to 25, a boutique festival dedicated to connecting music with broader urban culture across multiple city venues.
Doors open at 21:00, with tickets priced at €13 in presale and €15 on the day.
