Singapore, a vibrant hub for electronic music enthusiasts, is set to host a thrilling showcase as two of the genre’s prominent artists make their debut at the Pasir Panjang Power Station. The events, organized by Collective Minds, will feature ARTBAT on 17 October and Dom Dolla on 27 November, promising electrifying performances in a unique industrial setting.
The duo ARTBAT, comprised of Artur Kryvenko and Vitalii “Batish” Limarenko, has rapidly ascended to become a powerhouse in the electronic music arena. With a signature sound that intricately blends melodic techno, driving rhythms, and evocative synths, they captivate audiences across the globe. Their Singapore debut follows a series of headline performances at premier festivals such as Tomorrowland, Coachella, and Ultra Music Festival, giving fans a chance to experience their energetic set in a memorable location.
After making a stellar appearance at the Ultra Music Festival Miami earlier this year, ARTBAT returned to Tomorrowland Belgium in July, and they are set to take the stage again for Tomorrowland Thailand in December. Their impressive repertoire includes notable tracks like their reimagining of Monolink’s ‘Return to Oz’ and collaborations like ‘Fight Machine’, featuring R3HAB, Stylo, Eli & Dani, alongside vocals from NAIIM. The duo’s influence extends beyond music; they also launched UPPERGROUND in 2021, evolving from a record label into a full-fledged event concept that recently made its Asian debut in Malaysia.
Following the ARTBAT event, Dom Dolla will take the stage on 27 November for his first headline performance in Singapore. The Australian DJ and producer has garnered global recognition, especially after selling out his debut stadium performance at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium last December. This performance comes amidst his burgeoning success, which includes sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden and upcoming appearances at major venues like Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium.
Dom Dolla has solidified his place in the music industry with his infectious house sound, and he has announced additional headline dates across North America while retaining residencies at famed nightclubs such as Hï Ibiza and LIV Las Vegas. The artist’s recent work has included remixes and collaborations, such as Addicted to Bass (Dom Dolla Relapse), a remix of Puretone’s classic hit, collaborations with Tiga on ‘Don’t Worry Baby’, and a remix of KETTAMA’s ‘Comes & Goes’. His impressive streaming statistics of over 1.5 billion streams coupled with accolades like a GRAMMY nomination and multiple ARIA Awards for Best Dance/Electronic Release, showcases his impact on the music scene.
Tickets for the ARTBAT show are priced from S$128++, with options for General Admission and VIP Stage Passes. The VIP experience offers behind-the-DJ-booth access, fast-track entry, and entry into an exclusive area with a dedicated bar, enhancing the overall concert experience. For Dom Dolla’s performance, tickets will be available through Megatix, with artist presales starting on 2 September at 10 AM SGT and general sales commencing on 3 September at the same hour.
