“To me, music conveys a different kind of connection,” Baby Jane explains. “Loneliness is a private experience…and it is the heartbeat of my songs.” This connection with her growing fanbase is crucial, and she expresses gratitude for the opportunity to meet them through her shows.
The Sonic Landscape of Winter Forever
At the core of the Winter Forever Tour lies Winter Forever, an album that delves into atmospheric electronic pop and explores themes of isolation, darkness, and beauty. The album artfully crafts a surreal landscape inspired by cold urban environments, flickering apartment lights, and the melancholy often found in isolation. It is an exploration of beauty intertwined with shadows, a sonic representation of the duality of existence in modern life.
The music on Winter Forever is categorized into the emerging microgenre dubbed angelcore, known for blending ethereal sounds with electronic dance rhythms. The accompanying aesthetic encompasses occult symbols, coven mythology, and surrealist imagery, creating a world that perfectly embodies Baby Jane’s interests in escapism and emotional expression through music.
