It’s so cool seeing the new version of Achy Breaky Heart absolutely taking off in countries we wouldn’t have even dreamed of, like Brazil—it’s crazy. And getting to make music with the likes of Aussie legend Taylor Moss and Middy Nelson from Nashville… it’s bloody beautiful.”
Fresh from a recent performance at the Sunburnt Country Festival in Toowoomba, which featured other notable artists such as Jason Aldean and Corey Kent, Styles is thrilled with the scale of his current tour. Despite over 15 years of experience touring with Peking Duk, he finds new excitement in exploring less familiar areas of Australia: “It’s so cool seeing parts of Australia that I haven’t been to before. I thought I’d uncovered almost every nook and cranny of the country, but this Y.O.G.A. tour is massive. The amount of dates is almost hilarious, but I’m discovering all the parts that I didn’t quite get to see with Duk. Who thought there was anything left?! But there are so many spots that I’m just like, Oof! Go Australia! Turn up!”
