Berlin’s Club Renate will reopen in early April following extensive renovations, with a series of events planned for Easter weekend.
Berlin nightlife institution Club Renate has confirmed it will reopen on April 2, 2026, following a period of extensive renovations aimed at reshaping the space while preserving its identity.
After securing its long-term future in late 2025, the Friedrichshain venue began a major overhaul that includes a new architectural layout, created by removing several interior walls to open up the space. The обновljeni klub will also feature a new sound system by Kirsch Audio, a rebuilt and repositioned DJ booth, and a new stage designed to host live acts, bands and performance art.
Despite the structural changes, Renate’s management has emphasized that the club’s signature eclectic and unconventional atmosphere will remain intact. The goal, they say, is to preserve the “old spirit of Berlin” while adapting the venue for a new chapter.
To mark the reopening, Renate will host a four-day Easter weekend program, with events running consecutively from April 2. Highlights include the Green Floor reopening on April 4, featuring artists such as Eduardo de la Calle, Courtney Bailey, Stella Zekri and Eoin DJ.
Additional performances across the weekend will include Danielle, Space Dimension Controller and Phuong Dan, as the club reintroduces itself to Berlin’s nightlife scene.
