The new Easol AI agents, called Teammates, are now live for festival and experience businesses. They come with a $30 million Series A extension that brings the London-based company’s total funding to $60 million.
Two-thirds of the round is equity: $20 million from Y Combinator, Tiger Global, Foundation Capital, FMZ Ventures, Notion Capital and Eight Roads. The other $10 million is a debt facility from Viola Credit. Using debt this way lets the company grow without giving up as much ownership. Easol was founded by festival organisers Ben and Lisa Simpson, launched its platform in 2021 and has offices in London, New York and Los Angeles. Its first Series A, led by Tiger Global in December 2021, raised $25 million.
What the Easol AI agents actually do
Teammates run inside Easol’s own platform, which already handles bookings, payments, marketing, customer support and guest data for each client. Because the agents use live data from the client’s business, they can review performance, find missed sales and handle sales and support work. Easol lists three types: a general Easol Agent, a Sales Agent and a Support Agent.
The company gives two examples. At a ski festival, an agent found hundreds of pass holders who had not booked equipment rental. It then built the guest list and drafted outreach to them, an opportunity Easol puts at about $50,000. At another festival, the tool found $28,000 in recoverable payments in seconds. Easol says that job used to take staff two days.
Why it matters for the live business
Easol says demand for experiences keeps rising, but promoters are dealing with higher costs and tighter margins. Its argument is that many festivals have small central teams, so revenue slips through the cracks. AI agents are meant to close that gap without hiring more people.
The bigger strategic point is who owns the data. Easol encourages promoters to bring their technology in-house and keep full ownership of their customer data, rather than depending on outside ticketing platforms. The AI agents rely on that data, which makes the tools more useful the more of a business runs through Easol. Once a promoter’s bookings, payments and support all sit in one system, switching providers gets harder.
Its newly announced clients include Coachella, Stagecoach, Camp Flog Gnaw, Elements Festival, Head Trip, Boots in the Park and Snowboxx. That list shows Easol now works with major US festival brands as well as independent events. So far in 2026, guests in more than 135 countries have booked experiences through its platform.
