Freaky Deaky is making waves in the festival scene by extending its Halloween legacy with the announcement of its new event, Freaky Deaky NOLA. Set to take place on October 30 and 31 at the iconic Mardi Gras World in New Orleans, this brand-new two-day electronic music festival is poised to become a go-to destination for music enthusiasts and Halloween revelers alike.
The lineup is already generating buzz, featuring a stellar roster of artists that includes Porter Robinson, FISHER, Of The Trees, Chris Lorenzo, and Dabin. With its roots firmly planted in dance music’s vibrant culture, Freaky Deaky NOLA is set to bring one of the most beloved Halloween celebrations to a city known for its rich traditions and lively atmosphere.
Presented by an exciting collaboration of Disco Presents, Encore Entertainment, The Metropolitan, and Amps Events, this festival builds on the successful legacy of Freaky Deaky Texas. The goal is to create an annual destination for electronic music fans looking to immerse themselves in the Halloween spirit while enjoying top-notch performances. Organizers assure fans that even more artists will be added to the lineup, creating anticipation and excitement leading up to the event.
The festival promises something for everyone over its two days. Opening night on October 30 will see Porter Robinson take the stage for a special DJ set, complemented by performances from rising names like Of The Trees, Dabin, and Canabliss. The air will be electric as attendees groove into the Halloween spirit! On Halloween night, the tempo shifts towards house music, with FISHER and Chris Lorenzo headlining the lineup, alongside Devault, Bradeazy, and a host of other talented acts. Each night aims to deliver a unique musical experience that celebrates the diverse styles within electronic music.
Beyond the music, Freaky Deaky NOLA is set to deliver an unforgettable immersive experience. Mardi Gras World, renowned for its elaborate floats and decorations, will be transformed into a Halloween wonderland. Attendees can look forward to stunning stage productions, theatrical performances, interactive installations, and a variety of local vendors. With a backdrop as iconic as New Orleans, costumed fans will be able to celebrate this festive occasion in style.
This event also holds special significance for James “Disco” Donnie Estopinal Jr., founder of Disco Presents. His journey in the electronic music scene began in New Orleans over three decades ago, organizing underground raves. Now, he’s returning to his roots to foster a festival that blends nostalgia with the modern electronic music landscape. “New Orleans is home. It’s where I threw my first raves over 30 years ago, so this one’s personal,” Estopinal shares, emphasizing the deep connection he has with the city and its music culture.
As excitement builds, fans are encouraged to act fast—two-day and single-day passes will be available for purchase starting July 23 at 10 a.m. CST. With pricing for tickets expected to increase as the event date nears, early birds will have the chance to secure their spot at this inaugural celebration of Halloween and electronic music.
