Global Underground Unveils Their Milestone THIRTY Album

Global Underground THIRTY: A Celebration of Three Decades of Dance Music Excellence
Global Underground, a name synonymous with the evolution of electronic music, has made a significant mark in the dance music scene since its inception in 1996. Recently, they celebrated an incredible milestone with the release of their landmark album, THIRTY. This compilation brings together 30 exclusive tracks from various artists, marking a poetic tribute to 30 years of curating some of the finest sounds in electronic dance music.
A Journey Through Time
When Global Underground first launched, it shifted the paradigm of DJ culture. No longer were DJs just the anonymous figures relegated to shadows in nightclubs; they emerged as celebrated artists, taking their craft to iconic venues around the globe. The label became renowned for encapsulating the spirit of bustling cities through its unique compilations and live recordings, turning every release into a nostalgia-laden experience.
From the bustling streets of London to the beaches of Ibiza, Global Underground has consistently brought the global clubbing experience to listeners everywhere. The THIRTY album encapsulates this journey, showcasing the label’s evolution and its heartbeat, closely aligned with the worlds of both clubbing and musical innovation.
The Soundtrack of the Summer
As the summer of 2026 unfolded, several tracks from THIRTY made their mark, capturing the hearts of electronic music fans and topping playlists on platforms like Beatport. This resurgence of progressive dance music, which has recently experienced a revival, resonates deeply with party-goers and home listeners alike. The Global Underground brand has remained a crucial player in this revival, pushing the boundaries while keeping its core essence intact.
Notably, four singles from the album soared to the coveted No. 1 position on Beatport. For instance, Guy J‘s track combines a rhythmic bassline with arpeggiated synths, crafting a three-dimensional soundscape that transports listeners back to their favorite summer dancefloors.
Artistic Collaborations
THIRTY brings together an impressive roster of talent. Collaborations like Dave Seaman and Quivver‘s Starship Disco, for example, employ progressive sounds blended with a retro, 1970s sci-fi aesthetic. The track’s hypnotic, cyborg-like female vocals offer listeners a mesmerizing journey through sound.
Similarly, Simon Vuarambon‘s track Stamina showcases a transformation from dark, brooding tones into uplifting melodies, taking listeners on a thrilling ride. The dreamy sounds of Trilucid & Phil Martyn‘s Atlas meet enchanting trance elements, displaying a perfect union of melodic bliss on any dancefloor.

In celebration of this landmark release, THIRTY is available in several formats to cater to different preferences. The traditional audiophile will appreciate the 2x CD set, which includes two expertly mixed DJ sessions encapsulating all 30 tracks.
