DENVER (KDVR) — A GRAMMY award-winning electronic band is set to return to North America and takeover large venues in 2026, including one show in Boulder.
RÜFÜS DU SOL announced their biggest North America tour yet on Tuesday, stopping at the University of Colorado Boulder’s Folsom Field on Aug. 22.
Last year, the electronic trio’s Inhale / Exhale World Tour set a new bar for them, with 750,000 headline tickets sold across nearly 50 dates. This upcoming tour raises that bar again, with 24 shows at iconic venues like the Kia Forum in Los Angeles and Fenway Park in Boston.
The stadium at CU is becoming a bigger part of the local concert scene and is able to hold over 50,000 fans. Officials with CU told FOX31 last summer that the stadium planned to host “some of the biggest names and coolest acts you can imagine” in the near future.
The stadium was sold out for John Summit’s career-largest show last October, and it is expected to sell out for more shows this year.
RÜFÜS DU SOL will follow other major performances scheduled at Folsom Field this year, including Tyler Childers in July and Disco Lines in April.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 11 a.m. Fans can also sign up for artist presale by Monday, Feb. 23, to get tickets early, starting Tuesday, Feb. 24. There is no code needed for presale; anyone who signs up will be able to access the presale through their Ticketmaster account.
