In just two years, Insomnia has grown from an idea into one of Skopje’s most distinctive nightlife concepts, creating a space where music, self-expression and community come together on the dancefloor.
On June 20th, the collective celebrates its second anniversary with a special gathering at Zelenika Night Bar, marking another milestone in its journey while also closing out Pride Month in style.
Running from 23:00 until 06:00, the event promises a night filled with house, electro and the energy that has defined Insomnia since its inception. Over the past two years, the project has become associated with memorable parties, unique locations and a soundtrack built around the kind of anthems that stay with people long after the lights come on.
For the anniversary edition, Insomnia turns the spotlight on local talent, assembling a lineup that reflects the spirit of the community that helped shape the event series.
Behind the decks will be Stefan Strange, Ivana Dragsic, Whore Moans and Modem Priest, four artists who have each contributed to Skopje’s evolving underground scene in their own way. Together, they promise a celebration built on eclectic selections, dancefloor energy and a shared love of electronic music culture.
The event arrives at a meaningful moment, taking place immediately after Pride celebrations and serving as a farewell to what organizers describe as “the gayest month of the year.” That connection is more than symbolic. A portion of ticket sales will be donated directly to Skopje Pride, helping support the organization’s activities and ongoing work within the community.
This commitment reflects one of Insomnia’s defining values: creating a space that is inclusive, welcoming and driven by genuine connection. Beyond the music, the event has become a meeting point for people seeking freedom of expression, acceptance and a sense of belonging within Skopje’s nightlife landscape.
As with previous editions, the focus remains firmly on togetherness. The organizers describe the anniversary as a gathering where everyone is invited to celebrate in the best possible company, surrounded by familiar faces, great music and a shared appreciation for community-driven culture.
Two years may seem like a short time, but in that period Insomnia has established an identity that extends beyond the typical club night.
It’s a celebration of people, creativity and the spaces where both can thrive.
On June 20th, the dancefloor at Zelenika Night Bar becomes the setting for another chapter in that story—one filled with music, pride and plenty of reasons to stay awake until sunrise. 🖤🏳️🌈🎶✨
