Tej returns to his musical roots with his latest single, ‘Mumbai Nights’, which is now available on all streaming platforms. The track reflects his nostalgia for the vibrant nightlife of Mumbai, the city where he grew up before moving to the US.
Personal Inspiration Behind the Track
‘Mumbai Nights’ emerges from a deeply personal context. Tej crafted the song while reflecting on the experiences and the times he spent partying in Mumbai, the city that has significantly influenced his musical journey long before he became acquainted with production software.
Fusing Two Musical Influences
The single blends the essence of Mumbai’s nightlife with the contemporary dance sounds Tej has absorbed since relocating. This combination encapsulates a specific emotional expression rather than merely replicating the sounds from his upbringing, creating a connection between his past and present circumstances.
A Diary Entry for Dancefloors
The essence of homesickness and transformation permeates ‘Mumbai Nights.’ For those who have relocated and left behind the cities that shaped them, the track resonates as a heartfelt account set to dance music, inviting listeners to engage with their own stories of departure and reinvention.
Listening Experience
‘Mumbai Nights’ is now accessible across streaming platforms, providing an invitation to experience Tej’s blend of nostalgia and emerging soundscapes. This single promises to take listeners on a journey through memories that connect with vibrant nightlife and personal history.
