A brand-new dance music event called Head Trip will debut this October in California’s Coachella Valley, promising a unique one-stage festival experience.
A new electronic music festival titled Head Trip is set to make its debut this October in California’s Coachella Valley. The two-day event will take place on October 10 and 11 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, the same iconic location that hosts the globally renowned Coachella Music and Arts Festival.
Designed as a one-time-only event, Head Trip will feature a single stage with no overlapping sets, allowing attendees to experience every performance without schedule conflicts. The concept aims to deliver a more focused and immersive festival atmosphere.
The inaugural lineup already includes several of the biggest names in dance music, with Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex, The Blessed Madonna, and DJ Harvey confirmed to perform. The festival will also showcase special back-to-back sets, including Peggy Gou b2b Four Tet, Dom Dolla b2b KETTAMA, and Seth Troxler b2b Ben Sterling.
Adding another distinctive element to the weekend, Floating Points’ Sunflower Sound System will be present throughout the event, contributing to the festival’s unique sonic identity.
Production for Head Trip will be overseen by renowned designer Romain Pissenem, known for creating spectacular stage concepts for major Ibiza venues such as Ushuaïa. The event is organized by Goldenvoice, the promoter behind Coachella, further raising expectations for what could become one of the most talked-about new festival experiences of the year.
