It’s hard to believe that Ash Ketchum and Pikachu have been around for a whole 30 years, but they’ve reached that very landmark this year. To mark the occasion, Pokémon are putting on a huge night out in London, complete with huge DJs for a proper festival celebration.
Pokémon Night Out is hitting the O2 Arena on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, describing itself as a once-in-a-lifetime experience that joins the beloved franchise with the art of EDM. The celebratory festival will be headlined by Marshmello, with Alison Wonderland also along for the ride to catch ’em all (the dancers).

London and Los Angeles (which has a Pokémon Night Out event at the Intuit Dome in October) are the only cities in the world to be treated with this official celebration, which marks the first time Pokémon have put on an EDM night out.
More details on the festival are still to come, but, according to a press release, fans can expect “dynamic performances powered by innovative stage technology and Pokémon-inspired visual storytelling that will bring the iconic brand to life in an electrifying way”.
Also coming as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations will be the ‘Pokémon Day Out’ series: a family-friendly set of events set to take place this summer in Bordeaux, New York City, Dresden, and Mexico City. Between the night and day events, fans will have plenty to add to their Pokédexes this year. Struggling to kill time between then? Time for another Pokémon Ruby playthrough on the Gameboy Advance…
