Steve Aoki made waves at Tomorrowland recently, celebrating Dim Mak’s 30th anniversary with a special stage takeover. This event marked the fifth time Dim Mak has hosted its own dedicated stage at the illustrious Belgian festival, and it showcased the label’s impressive journey through three decades of electronic music.
The weekend was nothing short of spectacular, highlighted by a surprise back-to-back set featuring Aoki and Dutch techno maestro Reinier Zonneveld. During this electrifying collaboration, they premiered their new track, ‘On My Own,’ which features enchanting vocals from Darla Jade. This melodic techno piece perfectly encapsulates Aoki’s skill for crossover appeal while allowing Zonneveld’s underground techno artistry to shine—a blend of festival vibes and secluded after-hours grooves. Fans can look forward to its official release on July 24.
Reflecting on the monumental occasion, Aoki expressed, “It was incredible to celebrate 30 years of Dim Mak on one of the biggest stages in the world. I’ve been performing at Tomorrowland for 15 years, and it’s become such an important part of both my story and Dim Mak’s. Every year the crowd embraces what we’re building, so we wanted to make this anniversary celebration truly special. Having Reinier join me to premiere our new collaboration made the moment even more unforgettable.”
Zonneveld shared similar sentiments, emphasizing their natural synergy. “Super excited and happy to bring this surprising collaboration to the table. Steve and I have a really good click in the studio, and we’ve recorded some really cool underground tracks together.” This collaboration is a testament to how artists can fuse their unique styles to create something innovative and refreshing.

The Tomorrowland showcase is just one part of a much larger celebration commemorating Dim Mak’s 30th milestone, which will continue throughout 2026 with a series of pop-up events and the ongoing Dim Mak 30 Tour.
