Steve Rachmad celebrates 45 years in electronic music with a new Dekmantel album, EPs and a world tour.
Dutch techno legend Steve Rachmad is marking 45 years in electronic music in 2026 with an extensive series of releases and a global tour.
Since buying his first record in 1981 at the age of 11, the Amsterdam-based artist has built a career that spans decades of house and techno evolution. To celebrate the milestone, Rachmad is preparing a mix of new material and reissues, revisiting his legacy while continuing to push forward creatively.
Among the upcoming releases is a new album on Dekmantel, his first full-length project in 20 years, alongside a series of EPs scheduled for labels including TECHNO Records, Kynant and Dekmantel. In parallel, he plans to gradually make his entire back catalogue available on Bandcamp, giving listeners renewed access to his extensive body of work.
The anniversary will also be marked with a world tour, during which Rachmad will perform under multiple aliases, including Sterac, Sterac Electronics and Parallel 9, reflecting the different facets of his sound.
One of the key dates is set for April 18 at TILLATEC in Amsterdam, where he will play two sets and a back-to-back with Nastia, joined by artists such as Benny Rodrigues, Shaleen and Vince Watson.
With new music and a global tour, Rachmad’s 45-year milestone highlights both his legacy and continued relevance in electronic music.
