The verdict is out: El Nino is here to stay. The ongoing heatwave in Singapore may be almost unbearable, but it’s certainly a relief that there are plenty of parties happening this July to deal with it. You can find complete solace from the sun in industrial techno raves and indie rock mosh pits, or you can revel in the heat with a glass of wine while dancing to vintage funk – it’s all happening across Singapore, from the CBD to the outskirts of the island.
BEST PARTIES IN SINGAPORE IN JULY 2026
1. 999999999
999999999
Fans can fault Italian duo 999999999 for many things – their stubborn adherence to hardware-only sets, their limited vinyl-only releases, or their numerically excessive name – but they can’t fault them for being so serious about techno. 999999999, or 9×9 for short, have made waves for their raw and jagged approach to dance music, where their uncompromising beats are usually met by a tireless crowd. They’re back to perform at MDLR, and they’re expecting ravers to show up for a long jaunt till late.

Blu Jaz
Don’t be shy with this one – a new party night at Blu Jaz, dedicated to the cathartic sounds of indie rock, is launching under Malu Malu Club. Whether you’re an old-head needing a night to pour out your feelings, or a moshpit monkey working their way towards hearing loss, it looks like Malu Malu Club will be your monthly party of choice. Expect the sounds of classic post-punk, 2000s indie rock (or indie sleaze, as it’s now called), and other sorts of guitar anthems to rattle your eardrums and move your feet.

3. Seven Divine Cvnts: Ballroom Weekend Opening Party

4. Macseal + Prince Daddy & the Hyena
Wire Entertainment
It’s a two-for-one moshpit (or four-for-one, really) this month as midwest emo band Macseal are returning to our shores with punk rockers Prince Daddy & the Hyena. The latter act are best experienced fully unleashed, with their last show in Singapore nothing short of riotous, while Macseal’s anthemic tuneage for sad sacks will ease the heartache from the week. If that’s not all, they’re joined by emo venturers Camping and new grunge outfit Muff, who are currently promoting their excellent (and very loud) debut EP.
