Trois-Quarts Taxi System makes his first-ever appearance in Budapest on Friday, May 29, as Tempo Radio takes over Gólya Presszó for a night dedicated to experimental bass, immersive sound and cross-disciplinary club energy.
The event brings the French producer, live performer, sound artist and DJ to one of Budapest’s most community-driven underground spaces, where Tempo residents will be joined by several exciting names from the local scene. Alongside the music, the Xeno team will provide visuals, adding another layer to a night built around atmosphere, texture and deep sonic exploration.
Working both under his real name and as Trois-Quarts Taxi System, Eloi approaches sound as something fluid and constantly shifting. His work moves between acoustic and digital worlds, combining electroacoustic methods with hypnotic bass music while deliberately avoiding strict genre categories.
That open approach makes his Budapest debut especially interesting. Rather than offering a standard club set, Trois-Quarts Taxi System creates immersive soundscapes that can exist between the dancefloor, performance space and experimental listening environment. His music feels physical, detailed and unpredictable — built for audiences who enjoy being pulled into sound rather than simply moving through familiar club formulas.
The full lineup features Trois-Quarts Taxi System, Klpflrtpr & Switch Nollie, SLYM, Asvany, Robi C. & Makrai Márton and BNDK, creating a strong connection between international experimentation and Budapest’s own underground community.
Gólya provides a fitting home for the event. Known for its independent spirit and open cultural identity, the venue continues to support nights that sit outside mainstream nightlife expectations.
On May 29, Tempo Radio invites Budapest into a deeper zone of bass, sound art and visual immersion — a warm welcome for an artist whose work thrives exactly in the spaces between categories.
