We Belong Here has revealed the lineup for its long-awaited New Orleans debut. ODESZA, Carl Cox, and Steve Angello lead the three-day waterfront festival at Goldring Woldenberg Riverfront Park from November 13–15.
Set along the Mississippi River with views of the French Quarter, the festival brings large-scale dance music back to one of America’s most iconic music cities. The lineup also includes Sammy Virji, Blond:ish, Max Styler, and more, alongside 20 local New Orleans artists.
Three Nights of Epic Waterfront Electronic Music
The festival’s opening night will set the tone with a rare DJ set from ODESZA, marking their second appearance at We Belong Here. After a triumphant debut in Tampa Bay, the duo is ready to bring their signature energy to the vibrant New Orleans waterfront. The second day promises an exhilarating experience with a three-hour sunset set from Carl Cox, a titan in dance music known for his electrifying performances. He will be joined by Steve Angello, a figure whose legacy in electronic music is deeply intertwined with his work in Swedish House Mafia and Size Records. Not to be missed is Blond:ish, known for her innovative, genre-blurring sets that resonate with community spirit.
Sunday will showcase the rising star Sammy Virji, whose dynamic, bass-driven style has garnered him fans globally. Joining him is Max Styler, whose recent releases and notable festival appearances reflect his journey in the spotlight. The supporting roster, featuring established talents and promising new artists, embodies the diverse landscape of electronic music. Performers include Blu DeTiger (DJ set), ChaseWest, Madison Park, Robbie Doherty, and Simon Doty, alongside other acts like Styro, Supertaste (DJ set), Apex Martin, Coco & Breezy, and Soulection’s co-founder, Andre Power. This eclectic mix will span melodic house, underground club sounds, and next-gen festival energy.
Showcasing New Orleans’ Underground Scene
Sticking to its community-first philosophy, We Belong Here will shine a spotlight on 20 talented artists from New Orleans throughout the weekend. Among these performers, Qbaby Worldwide is set to blend bounce with house elements to create a sound unique to the area, while Legatron Prime and Bouffant Bouffant will deliver their own distinctive underground vibes. This local representation not only highlights the fusion of global music styles but also pays homage to New Orleans’ rich musical lineage, bridging the gap between international acts and local culture.
Co-founder Charles Hochfelder emphasizes the deep-seated connection between music and the essence of New Orleans. He shares insights into their vision of crafting an immersive and intentional experience that resonates with the spirit of the city. Hochfelder illustrates this connection well, stating:
‘Music is woven into the fabric of New Orleans. We’re excited to bring dance music to the French Quarter at this level and create something that feels immersive, intentional, and rooted in the spirit of the city.’
This debut marks another significant milestone for We Belong Here, following its growth in cities like Miami, New York, and Tampa Bay. The vibrant history and energetic culture of New Orleans present the perfect backdrop for reintroducing large-scale dance music to its past waterfront glory.
Fans eager to experience this unique convergence of global and local talent can now register for presale access and travel packages. The presale will kick off on Thursday, June 11 at 12 PM CT / 1 PM ET, with general sales following closely behind.
