Technics has unveiled a special edition SL-1200 turntable in collaboration with New York streetwear brand Aimé Leon Dore.
Technics has partnered with New York-based streetwear label Aimé Leon Dore to release a limited edition turntable, blending audio heritage with contemporary fashion design.
The model, titled SL-1200M7ALD, launched on March 18, 2026, and reimagines the iconic SL-1200 series in the brand’s signature Mulberry Green colourway, complemented by gold accents on the tonearm and control switches. The turntable is priced at $2,100 and includes a matching slipmat, reinforcing its collector appeal.
Alongside the hardware release, the collaboration also introduces a capsule clothing collection, featuring t-shirts, sweaters, caps and accessories that reflect Aimé Leon Dore’s aesthetic and connection to music culture.
Founded in 2014 by creative director Teddy Santis, Aimé Leon Dore draws inspiration from New York street culture and hip-hop, making the partnership with Technics a natural crossover between fashion and DJ heritage.
The release highlights the ongoing intersection between music, design and lifestyle, with the SL-1200 continuing to serve as both a functional tool and a cultural icon.
