Serbian DJ and producer Ilija Djoković has introduced a new project, AURISÉ, marking a shift from techno toward a more melodic and euphoric house sound.
Serbian DJ and producer Ilija Djoković has launched a new project titled AURISÉ, signaling a bold shift from his established techno sound toward a more melodic and emotionally driven house direction.
The name combines the ideas of “Aura” and “Rising”, reflecting a concept centered on energy, transformation and creative evolution. The project represents a new chapter in Djoković’s career, one that explores a broader and more expressive range of electronic music.
After years of building an international reputation through techno releases that reached the top of Beatport charts and earned support from artists such as Carl Cox, Maceo Plex and Adam Beyer, Djoković now turns toward a warmer and more uplifting sound. With AURISÉ, the focus shifts to groove, melody and emotional connection, moving beyond the intensity of club-driven techno.
The debut release, ‘Sway / Get Down’, introduces this new identity through two contrasting tracks. Sway delivers a hypnotic and melodic atmosphere, while Get Down leans into a deeper, more percussive groove built around raw rhythmic energy.
With AURISÉ, Djoković revisits the roots of his musical inspiration while redefining his artistic direction for the future.
