Free outdoor concerts are returning to San Francisco’s downtown this spring. Bay Area music promoter Another Planet Entertainment is partnering with San Francisco Recreation and Parks to host a major free concert at the Embarcadero on May 9, 2026.
The free show will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Om Records, a Bay Area record label known for its deep house sounds. Om Records includes many iconic EDM artists, such as Mark Farina, Kaskade, and Groove Armada. The music and lifestyle company has 700 releases in its 30-year history and has dozens of exclusive artists.
The free EDM concert has not announced a lineup yet, but organizers promise high-energy house, downtempo, and electronic beats for the free show. The daytime concert will take place at the Embarcadero Plaza from 1 to 5 pm on Saturday, May 9.
The concert follows “Back 2 Baysics” free show at the Embarcadero, which was deemed a major success with large crowds and an afternoon of dancing and music.
Another Planet Entertainment is an independent concert production company in the San Francisco Bay Area. The company operates various popular concert venues around the bay, including The Castro Theater, The Greek, Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, and more.
The company is also known for hosting Outside Lands, a major music festival in Golden Gate Park every August. Another Planet Entertainment has hosted a series of free concerts in SF, including at the Civic Center Plaza and the Embarcadero.
While you’re at the Embarcadero, we recommend exploring the Ferry Building across the street. The historic building is packed with great food vendors and local businesses, perfect for grabbing a bite before or after the free concert. Some popular vendors include Fort Point Brewing, Blue Bottle Coffee, Gott’s Roadside, and Hog Island Oyster Company.
Stay tuned for more details about the upcoming concert. You can RSVP for the free concert at the Embarcadero here.
