SUNORA Launches New Label SUNCTURE With the Dynamic EP ‘Echoes of Light’
Rising electronic duo Sunora has officially announced the launch of their new record label, SUNCTURE, coinciding with the release of their debut EP, Echoes of Light. This three-track collaboration with FunkT!de sets the tone for a label designed to showcase groove-led, emotionally resonant house music that captures warmth and atmosphere.
The Essence of SUNCTURE
SUNCTURE emerges as a platform allowing artists to express their creativity without the constraints of overthinking, embracing a return to raw artistry and instinct. In their own words, Sunora shared, “We started SUNCTURE to have a space where we can release music without overthinking it; just trusting our taste and the feeling.” This philosophy shines in Echoes of Light, which integrates analog textures, rolling basslines, and understated, hypnotic vocals, appealing to both open-air festivals and intimate nocturnal dancefloors.
Exploring ‘Echoes of Light’
The Echoes of Light EP introduces listeners to a sound that is polished yet organic, showcasing Sunora’s ability to construct a sonic palette that is both inviting and expansive. This release follows their first collaboration, Bianco Montana, with renowned DJ Lee Burridge under the All Day I Dream label. Their journey through musical production marks a promising path for the duo in the contemporary house scene.
The Talents Behind Sunora
Sunora, consisting of members Chertkovski and Alar, brings a unique blend of experience and innovation to the electronic music landscape.
Chertkovski has carved out his niche as one of the standout names in the Russian electronic scene, recognized for his versatile sound. His music enjoys support from influential artists such as Nora En Pure and Vintage Culture, and he has been featured on platforms like DJ Mag and Tomorrowland One World Radio. Now calling Bali home, his global touring includes performances at prestigious venues and festivals, such as Savaya and the Reverse Festival, which he founded.
On the other hand, Alar, previously known as Alexander Alar, is noted for his work at the intersection of Indie Dance, Melodic House & Techno, and Afro House. His emotive sound has garnered appreciation from industry heavyweights like Solomun and Pete Tong. With a ranking among the top 30 melodic house and techno producers on Beatport, Alar’s live performances have spanned iconic locations from Burning Man to Ibiza and Tulum, establishing him as a formidable presence in the electronic music community.

In April, Sunora took their sound on a thrilling tour across Thailand, treating audiences to open-air performances at beautiful beach settings. Kicking off at Yuchi Beach in Phuket and culminating at Praya in Koh Phangan, each performance was crafted to resonate with the surroundings, reflecting the duo’s deep connection to the atmosphere and locale that inform their musical identity.
What’s Next for SUNCTURE?
