Fortezza IV arrives at Bastion Koper on Friday, May 29, transforming one of the city’s most atmospheric spaces into a temporary zone of sound, light and collective energy.
Running from 21:00 until 04:00, the event continues Fortezza’s exploration of the line between freedom and control, between public space and regulated culture, between the city as a living organism and the city as a polished postcard.
Set among stone walls and old arches, the night carries a strong conceptual identity. Fortezza IV looks at what happens when spontaneous cultural spaces slowly disappear from city centers, replaced by clean façades, controlled programs and carefully managed images of urban life. In that context, Bastion becomes more than a venue — it becomes a statement.
For one night, the space is returned to sound, movement and people.
The music policy moves across techno, house, electro and trance, creating a wide but focused electronic journey shaped for bodies in motion and minds open to darker, more reflective club energy. Rather than relying on spectacle alone, the event builds atmosphere through tension, architecture and the physical pressure of sound.
Visually, Fortezza IV draws from the aesthetics of propaganda, surveillance and subtle resistance. The imagery suggests a world where faces change but systems remain, while the crowd slowly finds its voice again through shared experience.
It is not nostalgia.
It is a question.
Who does the city still belong to?
Powered by Prism Systems, with support from ZMKT, CMK and the Municipality of Koper, Fortezza IV brings underground culture back into a space where concrete, smoke, strobes and bass do not ask for permission.
