Apple Music has officially broadened its horizons with the introduction of two new flagship DJ mix series: Club Mix and Club Resident. This move signifies the platform’s commitment to enhancing its presence in the dance and electronic music scenes while providing a dedicated outlet for archiving and showcasing DJ culture.
This new development is an extension of Apple Music’s existing DJ Mix program, which has been operational since 2021. The two series are designed to serve distinct purposes: Club Mix will feature exclusive, one-off sets from artists who are pivotal to contemporary club culture, while Club Resident offers a sustained platform for select artists to deliver a series of mixes over time.
Club Mix Debuts With horsegiirL, Miss Kittin, and More
The inaugural installment of Club Mix has launched with a bang, featuring four exclusive sets. The lineup is headlined by horsegiirL, kicking things off with Club Mix 001. Following this vibrant debut are three captivating mixes recorded as part of Fête de la Musique, the renowned French cultural celebration that transforms cities into dynamic music landscapes. This featured set includes contributions from the electroclash pioneer Miss Kittin, the rising French selector Paloma Le Friant, and the techno duo Anetha b2b Tatyana Jane.
These mixes are available to stream on demand for Apple Music subscribers, and they’ll air for free on Apple Music Club Radio each Wednesday at 7:00 PM PT, with Miss Kittin and Paloma Le Friant’s sets scheduled for June 20 and Anetha b2b Tatyana Jane’s on June 21.

The Martinez Brothers and Jazzy Are the Inaugural Club Residents
Transitioning to the Club Resident series, Apple Music has enlisted the talents of The Martinez Brothers and Jazzy as the inaugural residents. The New York-bred house duo is currently immersed in a bustling Ibiza season, making their selection particularly timely. Jazzy, an emerging Irish DJ, producer, and vocalist known for his recent collaboration with Calvin Harris, is also set to make waves this summer with a packed festival lineup.
The Martinez Brothers’ first mix as Club Residents is set to drop on June 24, followed by Jazzy’s mix on July 8. Both artists have additional installments planned throughout the summer, promising a robust schedule for their fans.
“DJ mixes have always been one of the most important ways artists tell their stories and document a moment in culture,” expresses Stephen Campbell, Global Head of Dance, Electronic Music & DJ Mixes at Apple Music. “With Club Mix and Club Resident, we’re creating new platforms for artists to share defining creative statements while building a lasting archive of dance music culture.”
