Coachella organisers Goldenvoice will return to California in October this year, this time with a one-off electronic music-focused festival, Head Trip.
The one-time-only event will take over the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, home of Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, spotlighting electronic dance music DJs and producers across the weekend.
Taking place over two days, 10th and 11th October, the festival’s organisers have already shared the line-up. The event will see Calvin Harris and Swedish House Mafia headlining Saturday and Sunday respectively, alongside sets from Skrillex, The Blessed Madonna, and DJ Harvey.
Others on the line-up include b2b sets from Peggy Gou and Four Tet, as well as Dom Dolla and KETTAMA.
Floating Points will also be bringing his custom built sound system to the event, Sunflower Sound System. The bespoke system features 10 speaker stacks, and will be housed inside a domed tent with acoustic panels made from mycelium.
The event will feature brand new stage design unique for each artist, and has been designed by Romain Pissenem, founder of High Scream, and known for his elaborate work at esteemed Ibiza megaclubs.
The festival has also shared that there will only be one stage to avoid overlapping sets, with doors opening at 3pm and a 18+ age limit upon entry.
