The Wall, with a capacity of 250, offers a cozy atmosphere, while The Portal, adorned with mesmerizing projection-mapped visuals, holds up to 950 guests. For larger crowds, the outdoor A-Lot can swell to 3,000, and Odyssey, another venue within the complex, peaks at 4,600. This variety facilitates the nurturing of emerging artists, allowing them to perform in settings that suit their developing careers.

As much as AREA15 showcases big names, it has a strong commitment to local talent. “We love doing underplays,” Smolen remarks. The venue aims to champion local artists and provide them with opportunities to shine. An exciting new initiative focuses on highlighting local bands, especially in a city where the local music scene often gets overshadowed by the Strip.

Marking occasions like Halloween and New Year’s Eve becomes an elaborate affair at AREA15. These events transform the venue into a realm of cinematic themes, in-house performances, and elaborate installations. This year, the Halloween lineup includes Valentino Khan, a multitalented DJ and music producer known for his electrifying shows.
A Local’s Hub
Kevin Leos, who manages artist relations for AREA15, is particularly passionate about fostering a sense of community among attendees. He emphasizes the importance of creating a space where locals can engage with music and art regularly. “The Wall has that energy,” he says, likening it to the spirited local venues of his youth. The goal is to provide a welcoming hub for both local fans and touring artists.
