The highly anticipated Tomorrowland Thailand is set to make its debut in Asia, taking place at Wisdom Valley in the Bang Lamung district of Chonburi from December 11 to 13, 2026. This inaugural event is part of a five-year plan that will expand into two full weekends starting in 2027, projecting significant economic benefits for the region.

Upon the release of tickets, all 50,000 daily passes were sold out within an hour. Attendees are traveling from over 196 countries, leading to a substantial increase in international visitors.
Demographics: Approximately a quarter of the attendees are domestic fans from Thailand, while 30% to 40% are from across Asia, and an additional 30% to 35% come from Europe, the Americas, and Oceania.
Multi-Generational Appeal: The festival attracts a wide age range of participants, from college students to individuals in their seventies, challenging the stereotype of youth-focused festivals.
Extended Stays: Many travelers are opting for longer visits, averaging seven days, which significantly enhances the local hospitality and retail sectors.
The nearby city of Pattaya is experiencing an overwhelming surge in hotel occupancy and rates, reaching near-capacity levels.
Transforming the Landscape into an Artistic Wonderland
Tomorrowland’s organizers have been searching for an appropriate venue in Asia for over a decade, ultimately selecting Wisdom Valley after partnering with the Teepsuwan family. This venue has undergone significant physical enhancements, including substantial groundwork to support large stages and installations.
Over 120 shipping containers of staging materials have arrived from Belgium in preparation for the festival, which will showcase six main performance areas themed around Consciencia, focusing on essential human emotions.
The “CODEX” Stage: This unique platform will feature designs inspired by traditional Thai architecture.
Local Talent: Thai musicians will perform alongside internationally renowned DJs.
Curated Dining: The festival will highlight Thai cuisine, with over 70% of food offerings coming from local culinary traditions.
Heavy Logistics, Safety, and Strict Regulations
The event will implement stringent measures to manage large crowds efficiently and ensure safety:
Law Enforcement & Medical Care: There will be 300 police officers and 700 private security personnel, alongside multiple medical stations and emergency vehicles on-site.
Fire Safety Protocols: Following previous incidents, organizers will enforce strict fire safety measures across all stages.
Banned Substances: The festival has a zero-tolerance policy for narcotics and cannabis, with strict penalties for violations.
Transit Management: To facilitate the movement of attendees, 800 shuttle buses and new access roads will connect festival-goers to accommodations.
Ticket Security: To address rampant ticket scalping, transfers are not permitted, and identity registration is mandatory.
Tomorrowland’s arrival in Southeast Asia is poised to raise the bar for festival experiences in the region, combining technologically advanced productions with local cultural elements.
