One of the world’s most influential electronic music gatherings is preparing for a historic celebration. Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has officially revealed the first wave of artists for its 30th anniversary edition, offering an early glimpse into what promises to be one of the festival’s biggest and most ambitious years to date.
Taking place from October 21st to October 25th, ADE will once again transform the Dutch capital into the global epicenter of electronic music, welcoming thousands of artists, industry professionals and music lovers for five days of performances, conferences, exhibitions and networking events spread across the city.
The first lineup announcement already features more than 250 artists, reflecting ADE’s signature diversity across genres and generations of electronic music.
Among the first names confirmed are Avalon Emerson, DJ Nobu, Eris Drew, Skepta, Folamour, Freddy K, Chlär, Octo Octa, Prospa, Scooter, Skin On Skin and Faster Horses, alongside many more artists representing the broad spectrum of contemporary electronic culture.
As always, the initial announcement is only the beginning. Organizers have confirmed that the final program will feature more than 3,000 artists performing at over 200 venues throughout Amsterdam, making ADE once again the largest electronic music festival and conference in the world.
What sets Amsterdam Dance Event apart is its unique combination of nightlife and industry. By day, the conference brings together label owners, promoters, artists, technology companies and music professionals to discuss the future of electronic music through panels, workshops and keynote presentations. By night, virtually every club, warehouse, concert hall and cultural space across Amsterdam comes alive with performances spanning techno, house, drum & bass, electro, experimental music and everything in between.
Over the past three decades, ADE has grown from a relatively modest industry conference into one of the most important annual events in global electronic music. It has become the place where careers are launched, collaborations begin and new trends emerge, while also offering fans the opportunity to experience hundreds of performances from both legendary artists and the next generation of talent.
The 30th anniversary edition is expected to continue that tradition on an even larger scale, with many more lineup announcements, special showcases and anniversary events still to be revealed in the months ahead.
For anyone passionate about electronic music, Amsterdam remains the place to be every October.
And after three decades, ADE continues to prove why it stands at the very heart of global club culture.
