Scheduled for September 26, the festival marks the 14th edition of this celebrated event that first captivated audiences in 2012. On the morning of September 25, just one day before Rowdytown, they will host a hands-on DJ and music production workshop for local students at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. This initiative is part of a new program called Beyond AXS, a collaboration between concert promoters and Denver Arts & Venues aimed at connecting the community to music in innovative and creative ways.
The workshop will bring together 15 to 20 students from the RiseUp Community School. During this unique experience, they will learn about music production and the art of beat-making directly from the artists themselves. The students will not only receive invaluable insights into music creation but will also have the opportunity to interact with the duo, gaining a firsthand understanding of the creative process behind a live performance.
