Chronosphere Festival announces the full line-up for its debut edition, bringing a carefully curated programme of electronic music, art, nature and wellbeing to Parque de Lazer do Baião in Góis, Portugal, from 18–20 September 2026.
Spanning three electrifying days, Chronosphere has put together a diverse lineup that sees artists traverse various genres and eras of electronic music. Headlining the festival are legendary Detroit artists Moodymann and DJ Stingray 313, who will be joined by a well-rounded roster that boasts Gerd Janson, HAAi, Young Marco, Dan Shake, Bambounou, Elkka, OK Williams, Marie Montexier, Nicolas Lutz, and ISAbella. The musical offerings promise a refreshing blend of house, techno, electro, indie dance, and downtempo, skillfully crafted to guide attendees through a continuous journey of sound that celebrates both emerging talents and established icons.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of central Portugal—approximately one hour from Coimbra—Chronosphere elegantly unfolds along the tranquil banks of the Rio Ceira. The scenic riverside location is not just visually stunning; it also invites guests to immerse themselves fully in nature, with a bridge linking both sides of the festival site and opportunities for attendees to swim in the river’s warm, shallow waters between performances.
With attendance capped at an intimate 2,500, the festival’s single-stage format ensures a seamless experience for all festival-goers, allowing everyone to enjoy the entire musical lineup without worrying about scheduling conflicts.
What sets Chronosphere apart is its commitment to accessibility, especially for neurodivergent individuals. The festival is intentionally designed to foster an inclusive environment, featuring dedicated areas for quiet reflection and sensory regulation, alongside low-stimulus zones and noise-canceling headphones. This commitment extends beyond mere accommodations; the festival will provide neurodiversity-aware planning and Safety Angels—dedicated staff members who will assist guests throughout the site.
Upon purchasing tickets, attendees will be encouraged to detail their specific needs during registration, ensuring personalized support during their festival journey. Reserved zones near the stage will enhance convenience and comfort for guests requiring additional space and accessibility. Furthermore, a specialized area will accommodate deaf and hard-of-hearing patrons, ensuring they can fully engage in the experience through sight and vibration, supplemented by the presence of volunteers fluent in Portuguese Sign Language.
The festival’s planning heavily involved neurodivergent individuals and specialized organizations, such as Associação Portuguesa Voz do Autista, ensuring that the event is both considerate and accommodating to diverse needs.
Another significant pillar of Chronosphere is its strong focus on sustainability. The festival is deeply committed to forging a symbiotic relationship with the local environment in Góis, the Serra do Açor, and the Rio Ceira. For every ticket sold, the festival will plant a tree in the region, alongside implementing environmentally friendly practices such as reusable bar systems, comprehensive waste management plans, and measures to minimize single-use plastics.
Collaborating with local authorities and organizations, Chronosphere aims to advocate for forest conservation and wildfire awareness as part of a broader initiative focused on environmental restoration and sustainability.

Camping is included with all weekend passes, offering festival-goers the chance to fully embrace the experience. The campsite will open at 14:00 on Thursday 17 September, with the festival grounds welcoming guests at 09:00 on Friday 18 September, kicking off a vibrant schedule of music starting from midday and continuing into the early hours across the entire weekend.
