NYE On The Hill has completed its 2026 lineup with a final group of electronic, dance, and emerging Australian acts added to the three-day New Year celebration in South Gippsland, Victoria. The event will run from Wednesday, 30 December 2026, through Friday, 1 January 2027, with the organisers limiting attendance to 3,000 people. The newly announced artists include Melbourne DJ and producer Torren Foot, Brent Honey, Naarm selector Lexï, and indie-pop-rock project Daezy.
As the countdown to the New Year begins, music enthusiasts are gearing up for one of Australia’s most intimate yet vibrant festival experiences. NYE On The Hill, renowned for its curated selection of emerging talents alongside established artists, has attracted attention with its impressive lineup, exemplifying the diverse landscape of contemporary Australian music. This year’s event promises to be a memorable celebration, filled with eclectic sounds and engaging performances, designed to usher in 2027 in style.
The festival’s newly announced finalists make for an exciting mix, showcasing the evolution and breadth of the Australian music scene. Torren Foot, who has gained international acclaim for his unique take on house music, will grace the stage with his infectious beats. Hailing from Melbourne’s inner west, Foot has made waves with tracks like “New Bottega,” which not only boasts impressive streaming numbers but has also sparked a viral TikTok trend. His energetic sets are sure to keep the dance community moving as the clock approaches midnight.
Adding to the upbeat atmosphere will be Brent Honey, a seasoned performer whose experience spans Australia and Germany. With over 250 sets under his belt, his presence at the festival will resonate with those who appreciate dance music’s rich backdrop. Honey’s ability to read the crowd and engage them will undoubtedly contribute to an electrifying ambiance.
Emerging from Melbourne’s burgeoning club scene is Lexï, who embodies the innovative spirit of contemporary Australian music. Her performances at notable events like A3 Festival and Beyond The Valley reflect her stylish approach to sound, which is expected to captivate the audience at NYE On The Hill. The festival provides a perfect platform for Lexï to display her artistry, differentiating her brand of electronic music from the crowd.
Representing a unique facet of the lineup, Daezy is fronted by former AFLW player Daisy, blending indie pop and rock with a fresh perspective. The Naarm-based project appeals to fans who appreciate genre fusion and narrative-driven lyrics, lending a compelling voice to the festival. Daezy’s engaging performances are set to inspire new fans, while inviting seasoned listeners to explore a vibrant sound that resonates beyond sporting achievements.
The festival features an impressive lineup of established artists, including the much-lauded Ball Park Music. With a revered discography that boasts five ARIA Top 5 albums and substantial acclaim from audiences and critics alike, their participation reinforces NYE On The Hill as a go-to destination for authentic Australian music. Their successful ascent, particularly with their 2025 number-one album “Like Love,” is merely a reflection of their commitment to innovative melodies and lyrical depth.
Similarly noteworthy is The Rions, whose ascent has been nothing short of remarkable since their triumph in the triple j Unearthed High competition in 2021. Their debut album, “Everything Every Single Day,” achieved impressive commercial success, and the recent “Everything (The Deluxe Edition)” further solidifies their status in the Australian music landscape. Their emotive sound and engaging performances promise to resonate deeply with audiences at the festival.
Fellow performers, Old Mervs, are riding a wave of recent success with notable placements in the triple j Hottest 100. Their engaging new tracks, produced by ARIA Award winner Chris Collins, illustrate a commitment to quality and originality that will no doubt leave a lasting impression at NYE On The Hill.
Pacific Avenue and Darcie Haven, both tapping into distinct facets of the Australian music tapestry, bolster the festival’s lineup, providing a diverse range of sonic experiences to attendees. Pacific Avenue’s evolution from local favourites to touring sensations reflects their dynamic musical vision, while Darcie Haven’s captivating “Angel Of The Apocalypse” resonates deeply, reaching the ARIA Australian Albums Chart’s second spot in 2025.
The festival’s origins in The Hills Are Alive, an intimate gathering for music lovers, underline its philosophy of fostering a close-knit community. With a limit of just 3,000 attendees, NYE On The Hill avoids the often overwhelming atmosphere of larger festivals, prioritizing a shared experience between artists and fans. This curated approach enhances the feeling of inclusivity and connection, which is at the heart of live music culture.
Attendees can expect not just music, but a vibrant atmosphere featuring late-night DJs, comedy acts, art installations, and morning yoga sessions among other activities. Food trucks and various themed bars will cater to diverse tastes, ensuring that every part of the festival contributes to an enriching experience. The opportunity to camp for free further adds to the festivities, allowing festival-goers to immerse themselves fully in the celebratory spirit.
The 2026 edition of NYE On The Hill promises an immersive environment that celebrates the best of Australian music and community, propelling the festival into its next chapter as we step into 2027.
