Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas Expands: The Dusk Till Dawn Experience
In an exciting development for the electronic dance music community, Insomniac has announced that the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas will expand to two consecutive weekends in 2027. This initiative introduces a fresh concept dubbed “Dusk Till Dawn,” promising a more immersive experience that celebrates music, art, and community.
New Dates and Expansive Layout
Scheduled for 12 days of festivities, EDC Las Vegas 2027 kicks off with “EDC Dusk” from May 14-16 and follows with “EDC Dawn” from May 21-23. The broader “Dusk Till Dawn” experience will encompass events across Las Vegas from May 13-24, highlighting the festival’s commitment to comprehensive engagement throughout the city.
A Reimagined Festival Experience
Insomniac’s founder, Pasquale Rotella, expressed his enthusiasm for this new chapter, stating, “I’m really excited to introduce ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ as the next evolution of EDC.” The festival aims to create a unique journey that offers attendees various ways to connect with the rhythm of the festival. By reimagining EDC as a dual-weekend celebration, organizers hope to enhance the overall experience, making it even more unforgettable.
Ticketing Options
For attendees, purchasing options are flexible and accommodating. Festivalgoers can opt for passes to either weekend individually, or purchase a combined pass for both weekends. Prices begin at $399.99 for a general admission ticket to a single weekend. The two-weekend passes start at $599.99, allowing fans to enjoy all the festival has to offer.
A Reflection on EDC 2026
The announcement comes on the heels of the sold-out 2026 edition, a spectacular event that celebrated 30 years of EDC Las Vegas. The festival attracted hundreds of thousands of participants and showcased over 450 artists across 18 music areas. Notable performers included heavy hitters like Kaskade, Martin Garrix, and Tiësto, among many others, offering a diverse array of electronic music for attendees to enjoy.
Community and Charity Initiatives
The vibrant atmosphere of EDC extends beyond music. The 2026 festival featured the inaugural World Party Parade along the Las Vegas Strip, alongside an expanded art car program and city-wide events. Additionally, the event raised funds for local charities such as Nevada 4-H Camp Alamo and Casa de Luz, showcasing its commitment to supporting youth and community initiatives.
Designed with Comfort in Mind
Organizers have taken feedback seriously and plan to implement a lower capacity for the 2027 festival. This adjustment is aimed at enhancing the attendee experience by providing more spacious areas for interaction, which also helps streamline travel and accommodations for festivalgoers.
Ticket Sales and Layaway Plans
Tickets for EDC Las Vegas 2027 will be available for purchase starting at noon Pacific time on Friday. Along with the standard options, layaway plans will be offered, enabling attendees to secure their passes with a modest $5 deposit.
Upcoming Announcements
While ticket sales are generating buzz, details about the festival’s lineup, themes, and special stage programming are set to be released later. This anticipation adds an extra layer of excitement for fans eager to learn more about the artists and experiences that EDC 2027 will feature.
