New Highlights for 2023
World Party Parade
Kicking off the festivities on Thursday evening is the inaugural World Party Parade. This unique celebration will traverse a portion of the iconic Las Vegas Strip, showcasing over 30 art cars, sound systems, and hundreds of performers. Best of all, this event is free and open to people of all ages, making it an inclusive start to the unforgettable weekend.
Celebrating 30 Years: Kinetic Journey
The theme for this year, Kinetic Journey, perfectly encapsulates the spirit of EDC over the past three decades. Participants will be immersed in a visual and auditory experience that pays homage to the vibrant community that has flourished throughout the years.
Stunning Stage Makeovers
Expect a visual feast as seven stages receive complete design makeovers. Key areas like Kinetic Field, Circuit Grounds, Neon Garden, Stereo Bloom, Basspod, Quantum Valley, and Wasteland will feature entirely new aesthetics that elevate the overall experience.
A Tribute to Underground Dance Music
New this year is the Insomniac Fridays themed area, which pays tribute to the roots of underground dance music in Los Angeles. Artists such as Steve Loria, Frankie Bones, Donald Glaude, and more will grace the stage, embodying the sound and spirit of early rave culture.
Debuting Art Cars and Unique Spaces
The Picnic Playtime art car, hosted by Ravewave, will make its debut, showcasing a lineup that includes Flapjack, 99Jakes, Lucky Rabbit, and others. Additionally, the Takis Zone will spotlight dynamic drum and bass artists, such as Skanka and Justin Hawkes, providing a platform for both established and rising talents.
Collaborative Stages
Factory 93’s Neon Garden will be taking over on Friday for a Time Warp experience, while Wasteland will be hosted by Unreal Germany, showcasing a diverse array of performance styles. Also returning is the Ubuntu Stage, a collaboration with South Africa’s Bridge for Music nonprofit that will present afro house performances.
Live Broadcasts and At-Show Entertainment
Insomniac Radio will be broadcasting live from their new M.A.R.S. Studio, with the backdrop serving as the stage for EDC Afters, a recap show featuring notable personalities like Kaskade and Pasquale Rotella. Furthermore, select performances from Camp EDC will be featured on Insomniac Radio, allowing even those who can’t make it to catch the vibe.
