Los Angeles has seen its share of big nights, but “Pokémon Night Out” might be one of its most unexpected. For this one-night-only experience on October 24, 2026, trade your usual concert tee for a Pikachu hoodie, then head into a full-scale electronic music show built around one of the most recognizable franchises on the planet.
Part of Pokémon’s 30th anniversary “What’s Your Favorite?” campaign, the event is set to be a massive gathering of trainers to cheer as familiar characters flash across massive screens in sync with heavy bass drops. It’s one of just two Pokémon Night Out events in the world, and the other one is in London.
Headlining the night is Marshmello, with Alison Wonderland opening. Both artists are known for high-energy sets, but here they’re doing something a little different. Expect custom mixes, Pokémon-inspired visuals, and a stage setup designed to tell a live story. This is a full EDM experience that just happens to feature Charizard soaring overhead and maybe a surprise appearance or two from fan favorites.
Marshmello announced the event in a video, promising a “very special, very curated” set.
Pokémon has always been about connection, whether through trading, battling or just comparing collections. “Night Out” takes that idea and scales it up. You’ll be joining a crowd of fellow fans who grew up with the same games, shows and cards, and stepping into a remix of that Pokémon world.
And yes, there will be merch. Limited, collectible and almost guaranteed to sell out before the encore, exclusive items will be available online and at the concert.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 17 through Ticketmaster, and they probably won’t last long. If you’ve ever wondered what it would feel like to hear your childhood soundtracked by a festival-grade sound system, this might be your chance.
