Global Underground is bringing its 30-year legacy to Ibiza this October with a two-day celebration taking place on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd October 2026.
In collaboration with 909 and WAV Liverpool, the event promises an extraordinary weekend featuring some of the most iconic names in electronic music. Set to unfold at the stunning 528 Ibiza, this festival experience extends its allure by providing attendees access to an exclusive sunset and evening party at the renowned Café del Mar.
Recognizing Global Underground’s 30th anniversary, the celebration will span two remarkable venues that are integral to Ibiza’s musical landscape. The festivities kick off on Thursday 1st October at the iconic 528 Garden Amphitheatre, a venue celebrated for its immersive outdoor ambiance.
Headlining the first day is the legendary duo Deep Dish. This marks their triumphant return to the Global Underground series, following their successful release of #GU49 Dublin earlier this year. Known for revolutionizing the dance music scene, their presence promises an exhilarating experience that no electronic music lover should miss.
Joining the duo at the amphitheater will be Guy J, a master of progressive house who recently contributed his talents to #GU48 Cordoba. His signature sound has captivated dancefloors across Ibiza this summer, setting the stage for what promises to be an unforgettable night.
As the clock strikes 11 PM, the festivities will shift indoors to the lively 528 Club, where music enthusiasts will enjoy sets from an impressive lineup of Global Underground artists. Patrice Bäumel, recognized for his work on #GU42 Berlin, will take the helm, delivering a flawless blend of techno and progressive sounds to the enthusiastic crowd.
Another highlight of the night will be Dave Seaman, an Ibiza resident and progressive house aficionado. His history with the Global Underground series is extensive, including classic releases such as GU012 Buenos Aires and GU016 Cape Town. Seaman’s recent B2B performance with Anthony Pappa is already being discussed as one of this summer’s defining moments, and attendees can expect him to bring that same energy to the club.
Completing this remarkable lineup is James Zabiela, a staple in the electronic music scene for over two decades. Known for his exceptional technical skills and innovative approach to DJing, Zabiela’s performance adds another layer of excitement to the evening.
The party rolls into day two at the breathtaking Café del Mar on Friday 2nd October. The incredible Lloyd Barwood, a rising star in progressive house, will set the tone with a captivating sunset set, having garnered support from influential artists such as Sasha, Henry Saiz, and Eelke Kleijn.
Set against the stunning backdrops of Ibiza’s western coastline, Café del Mar is the ultimate setting for a sunset party, offering panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding islets. After the sun dips below the horizon, the festivities continue into the night, with ticket holders gaining exclusive entry to Café del Mar’s vibrant atmosphere.
