Ministry of Sound has announced an electrifying lineup of events for October through New Year’s Eve, marking the club’s grand 35th anniversary. The upcoming festivities promise an exhilarating mix of exclusives, underground talents, and legendary artists, capping off a landmark year filled with celebrate upgrades, exciting collaborations, and innovative concepts.
The anniversary celebrations kick off with the official 35th Birthday Anniversary on October 2nd and 3rd, featuring a weekend packed with three thrilling events. The festivities will be a testament to the club’s enduring legacy and its influential role in the music scene.
Friday will feature the much-anticipated Louder party, welcoming d&b maestro Andy C to the Ministry stage for his first performance in a decade, alongside Charlie Tee, Junk Mail, and more special guests yet to be revealed.
The Saturday lineup promises an exciting collaboration with the long-running Hard Times party, showcasing legends Kerri Chandler and Moodymann, who will be joined by Flo Real for a night filled with deep grooves and uplifting rhythms. Later that very night, the inaugural event of the edgy new night URGE will see Loco Dice, the Desolat label head, return to the Ministry stage after a decade, with support from Joëlla Jackson, Ramoss, and Basso.
The excitement continues throughout October, as Eli & Fur make their Ministry of Sound debut on October 9th during the Parable event. The month boasts a plethora of activities that celebrate diverse genres, from house and techno to drum & bass and UK garage. Notable highlights include Seven Lions, Muzz, and Kill The Noise performing at the Monstercat event on October 16th. And don’t miss the vibrant Garage Nation daytime session on Halloween featuring DJ Luck & MC Neat, alongside Scott Garcia and DJ Cartier.
As we transition into November, the energy remains high with debuts and returns that include Lilly Palmer making her Ministry debut as part of Louder on November 7th. The same day, the iconic Clockwork Orange will make a long-awaited return, featuring a lineup rich with legendary DJs like Fat Tony, Graeme Park, Alistair Whitehead, and Grant Nelson.
Lovers of electronic beats won’t want to miss Robbie Doherty headlining on November 21st, followed by the extraordinary Armand Van Helden lighting up the dancefloor on November 28th alongside Jade Edwards, Egmond, DJ Freespirit, and Junior Pappa.
As December rolls in, the celebration continues to delight with events such as Louder, Bresh, UKG Brunch, La Fiesta, Home Rooted, and Soul Session. The festive calendar will reach its pinnacle on New Year’s Eve, when Ministry of Sound will host its signature celebration, including a special guest yet to be revealed.
“It’s been a huge year for the club, and we’re looking to celebrate with the same energy we had at the start. From some of the pioneers who have shaped our history to the next generation pushing things forward, there’s something across the coming months for everyone,” states Club Director Matt Long.
This extensive lineup is part of a year-long celebration recognizing 35 stellar years of Ministry of Sound. Alongside this vibrant club programme, the anniversary has witnessed the release of Ministry of Sound: Anthology, a documentary chronicling the club’s remarkable history, the live-streamed talent competition Boxed In, the immersive culinary experience Last Orders in the newly renovated main room, as well as a successful event in Ibiza in September, marking the club’s return to the island after more than a decade.
As the months unfold, the lineup will uplift the diverse music genres and communities that have played a pivotal role in Ministry of Sound’s storied history, alongside emerging stars who continue to propel the club forward in the music scene.
