The recent unveiling of The Foundry’s inaugural lineup of shows marks an exciting new chapter. Scheduled performances include Italian DJ Kybba on September 18, New York sibling duo Tinzo and Jojo for a two-night stint on October 24-25, and Florida-based producer Wonkywilla on October 30. These bookings highlight the venue’s commitment to showcasing diverse electronic music talents and provide an enticing preview of what’s to come.

Andrew Wasilewski envisions The Foundry as more than just a nightlife venue; he aims to create a community hub where music lovers can gather, connect, and dance. “We really want to focus on creating more of a community-focused nightlife space,” he expressed, emphasizing the importance of intentionality in fostering connections among patrons. He acknowledged the challenges local talent faces in gaining visibility at larger venues, stating, “I feel like at larger venues, it can be very challenging for local talent to get in there.” By providing a platform for homegrown artists, The Foundry seeks to nurture a sense of belonging within the local music community.

Looking ahead, the team behind The Foundry has ambitious plans for the roughly 4,400-square-foot space. While specific remodeling details are yet to be finalized, potential renovations include creating an immersive in-the-round experience and enhancing the audio-visual environment with advanced lighting technologies. “We just really want to use the space to its utmost potential,” said Bryce Myers, the assistant general manager and creative director.
