Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike officially launched their most ambitious Ushuaïa Ibiza production to date with a spectacular opening night, bringing the immersive world of Tomorrowland’s Planaxis universe to life.
Last night marked the highly anticipated start of the 2026 Ushuaïa Ibiza residency from Tomorrowland and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, transforming the island’s iconic open-air venue into a stunning underwater-inspired experience.
Taking place every Wednesday from 6 May through 30 September 2026, the residency once again combines Tomorrowland’s signature storytelling with the high-energy performances that have made Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike one of Ibiza’s biggest attractions.
Drawing inspiration from The Story of Planaxis, Tomorrowland’s legendary underwater-themed universe, the custom-built production immersed attendees in a visually striking aquatic world filled with oceanic décor, cinematic visuals, and massive stage elements.
From the moment guests stepped into Ushuaïa Ibiza, they were surrounded by a dreamlike atmosphere where sea air, sunset energy, and state-of-the-art production came together for an unforgettable opening celebration.
The opening night also included standout sets from special guests Oliver Heldens and Agents Of Time, each delivering their distinct sound to an international crowd gathered at Ushuaïa Ibiza. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike then took over for a powerful closing performance filled with their trademark big room tracks, energetic drops, electro-driven productions, and fan-favourite remixes.
Following the global success of their latest release Makina Time alongside Marlon Hoffstadt and DJ Konik, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike continue to showcase their worldwide influence both on stage and beyond. The duo once again proved why they remain among the leading names in dance music, delivering a relentless, high-energy set that kept the crowd engaged throughout the entire night.
