Y.O.G.A. (You’re Only Great Always) is quickly becoming a name to watch in the music scene as he returns to the Californian desert after a successful stint last year. Following his recent announcement, fans are buzzing with excitement over his participation in Stagecoach, a festival that celebrates the vibrancy and diversity of country music.
The upcoming performance at Stagecoach is part of Y.O.G.A.’s extensive 21-date tour across Australia and New Zealand. This tour has captivated multigenerational audiences, many of whom have resonated with his energetic remix of Slim Dusty’s classic track Duncan, which has become a highlight of his live shows. Y.O.G.A. is redefining the boundaries of country music by blending it with EDM elements, creating an exhilarating experience.
On his return to Stagecoach, Styles expressed his enthusiasm, stating: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be playing Stagecoach for a second time— to be asked once could be seen as lucky, but to be asked to come back and do it again means we must be on to a good thing. I’m going to bring heaps of live elements to the show, like guest vocalists, live instruments, and dancers. You know we’ll go way over the top for this one, as we should!”
The momentum behind Y.O.G.A. has surged in the past two years, significantly fueled by viral remixes of nostalgic hits such as 9 to 5, Duncan, and a reimagined rendition of Achy Breaky Heart featuring Australian country star Adam Harvey. This particular version has gained unexpected popularity in international markets, showcasing the global appeal of his innovative sound.

Y.O.G.A. reflects on his musical journey with a sense of pride: “I’ve been working so hard over the last couple of years and collaborating with some of the most talented country artists in the industry. It’s so cool seeing the new version of Achy Breaky Heart absolutely taking off in countries we wouldn’t have even dreamed of, like Brazil—it’s crazy. And getting to make music with the likes of Aussie legend Taylor Moss and Middy Nelson from Nashville… it’s bloody beautiful.”
Fresh from a recent performance at the Sunburnt Country Festival in Toowoomba, which featured other notable artists such as Jason Aldean and Corey Kent, Styles is thrilled with the scale of his current tour. Despite over 15 years of experience touring with Peking Duk, he finds new excitement in exploring less familiar areas of Australia: “It’s so cool seeing parts of Australia that I haven’t been to before. I thought I’d uncovered almost every nook and cranny of the country, but this Y.O.G.A. tour is massive. The amount of dates is almost hilarious, but I’m discovering all the parts that I didn’t quite get to see with Duk. Who thought there was anything left?! But there are so many spots that I’m just like, Oof! Go Australia! Turn up!”
With the anticipation building for his upcoming performance at Stagecoach Festival, Y.O.G.A. is poised to further solidify his position as an artist who gracefully melds two genres in a captivating way. His commitment to bringing a lively, immersive experience to his fans is evident, and it’s clear that his star will continue to rise in the global music landscape.
