David Guetta and Marten Hørger have released their highly anticipated new collaborative project, MEN MACHINE EP.
Though Guetta and Hørger have collaborated in various capacities over the years, MEN MACHINE represents their first official joint venture as a dedicated project. This long-awaited release is set against the backdrop of their mutual admiration and deep-rooted friendship, which has flourished over years of shared experiences in the music scene.
The creation of the five-track EP stemmed from late-night conversations and a shared vision that both artists harbored for their music. Eager to reinvent the sounds filling clubs and festival stages, they sought a direction that diverged from the mainstream trends dominating the electronic music landscape today.
Their guiding principle was refreshingly simple: the project had to be fun, with the music placed firmly at the forefront. It was this upbeat philosophy that gave rise to MEN MACHINE. After spending the last year quietly developing the tracks, they took to stages around the globe to road-test the material, building anticipation for the official announcement.
Since the summer of 2025, Guetta has prominently featured focus tracks like “Engage” feat. Vitalic and “The Past, The Present, The Future” during his Ibiza residency. Both tracks quickly became instant highlights during his sets, showcasing the strong club energy that forms the backbone of the EP.

The dynamic duo made their formal debut for MEN MACHINE on April 11th, during Guetta’s thrilling performance at the Quasar Stage at Coachella. Surprising the audience, Hørger joined him on stage, igniting the crowd with multiple tracks from their project. The palpable excitement showcased the immediate connection the audience had to the new music.
Musically, MEN MACHINE marks a notable evolution for Guetta. Pulling influences from the electroclash movement of the ’90s, the EP weaves together elements of electro, new wave, synth-pop, and techno while maintaining a contemporary sound that aligns with 2026’s mainstage electronic music. This unique fusion creates an infectious atmosphere, reflective of both artists’ innovative spirits.
At a time when a fresh wave of harder-edged dance music is emerging, MEN MACHINE feels less like a reaction and more like the natural culmination of the sonic palette Guetta and Hørger have been crafting diligently behind the scenes for months. It embodies both their artistry and the evolution of the electronic music genre itself.
This project follows Guetta’s other club-focused collaboration, Future Rave, which he launched with MORTEN in 2019. Designed to bridge the gap between underground club sounds and festival-scale energy, Future Rave has matured into a prominent sonic identity that has reshaped today’s mainstage music.
Future Rave has been supported by numerous releases, tours, and residencies, continually impacting the electronic music scene and influencing a new generation of artists. The legacy of Guetta and Hørger‘s new collaboration will likely contribute significantly to their ongoing influence in this ever-evolving landscape.
