His discovery of electronic music arrived through cherished French house tapes that changed his musical trajectory. Transitioning from a career in banking to the vibrant world of dance music, AMÉMÉ credits his analytical background with shaping his thoughtful approach to community-building in music. After purchasing a basic DJ controller and self-learning the craft while in New York, he made the pivotal move to Berlin to dive deeper into the rich electronic music culture of Europe.
At the core of AMÉMÉ’s vision is One Tribe, a collective he established in Brooklyn in 2017 to create connections through afro-house music. Initially starting as a grassroots event series, One Tribe has evolved into a respected global entity and boutique record label.
