30 YEARS ADE: Shaped by Many, Moving as One
The 30 YEARS ADE Icon Series is a centerpiece of this anniversary, featuring thirty events celebrating the legacy of electronic music while looking toward its future. With Jean-Michel Jarre acknowledged as the Guest of Honour, this year’s ADE promises special recognition of his groundbreaking work, such as the 50th anniversary of ‘Oxygene’ and an exclusive keynote interview.
The Icon Series will include remarkable collaborations, such as Boris Acket’s immersive EINDER installation featuring performances from the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, and a unique rendition of ‘Swan Lake Remixed for ADE’ by the Dutch National Ballet and ISH Dance Collective.
Throughout Amsterdam, this series will intricately weave together varied artists, institutions, and scenes that have significantly influenced electronic music’s evolution, connecting generations of artists who carry its cultural banner into the future.
The historical dialogue continues at ADE Pro with the 30 Years of ADE panel featuring key figures from the festival’s history, exploring how it has evolved from a small gathering of 300 delegates to a global electronic music centerpiece.
ADE Arts & Culture: Electronic Music Across Art, Culture, and the City
