Electronic music pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre will perform in Ibiza for the very first time this summer, headlining a special show at Amnesia as part of the club’s landmark 50th anniversary celebrations.
Jean-Michel Jarre is set to reach a new milestone in his remarkable career this summer, as the legendary French composer prepares for his first-ever performance in Ibiza. The electronic music visionary will headline a special event at Amnesia on Sunday, July 5, joining the club’s celebrations for its 50th anniversary.
The announcement places one of electronic music’s most influential figures at the center of one of the island’s most important milestones. Despite shaping the sound and evolution of electronic music for more than five decades, Jarre has never previously performed on Ibiza — making the upcoming show a particularly significant moment for both the artist and the island’s music culture.
With 22 studio albums and more than 85 million records sold worldwide, Jarre’s legacy spans generations. Known for combining music, technology, and groundbreaking visuals, his concerts have taken place at iconic locations such as the Eiffel Tower and the Pyramids of Giza, drawing audiences in the millions.
This time, however, the experience will be very different. Instead of vast outdoor landmarks, Jarre will bring his immersive audiovisual performance into the more intimate surroundings of Amnesia’s famous Terrace. As the artist himself noted, the venue represents a unique escape from time — the perfect setting to celebrate both innovation and history in electronic music
