In response to mounting concerns, Kappa FuturFestival has temporarily suspended artists linked to the ongoing ‘Techno files’ allegations, while affirming its commitment to community trust.
Kappa FuturFestival, one of Europe’s premier electronic music events, has suspended several artists associated with the ‘Techno files’ allegations. Among those temporarily removed are SHLØMO and CARV, with the organizers emphasizing this is a precautionary step rather than a final judgment.
In a statement, the festival reiterated its focus on safety and respect as core values. The decision aims to maintain trust within the electronic music community while investigations unfold.
Despite these developments, the 2026 edition of Kappa FuturFestival will proceed in Turin from July 3 to 5. With more than 120 acts across three days, the festival will showcase a diverse lineup, ranging from global headliners to fresh talent, with a spotlight on unique back-to-back sets.
Attendees can expect performances from top-tier names such as Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, Four Tet, Skrillex, Peggy Gou, and many others. Ranked among the world’s top festivals, Kappa FuturFestival continues to be a cornerstone of Europe’s summer festival circuit.
